ABOUT KALLINI PUPPETS:
KALLINI PUPPETS
We are situated at the mouth of the River Tyne in the North East of England. We sell hundreds of different puppets including Glove Puppets, String Puppets and Finger Puppets. Our new Ventriloquist Dummy is a great addition to our range and he is proving to be a big hit both in the UK and abroad.
MEET THE TEAM
OLIVER KALLINI
Oliver Kallini has performed with puppets and magic for forty years since leaving school at the age of sixteen.
Over the years he has made many custom puppets for performers all over the country and lectured on puppetry for The Magic Circle, The International Brotherhood of Magicians, The World Clown Association and many more.
For the past two years he has devoted all his time to creating our new vent dummy characters and is now developing a Kallini Puppet marionette which will be for sale on this site shortly.
MIKE
Mike is an engineer by trade and over the years designed and built many incredible machines for industry and companies all over the UK.
He uses all his technical know how to create the moulds used to cast the dummies and design new features and ideas to help make the puppets easier for the performer to use.
He is currently working on mechanisms to enable the dummies eyes to cross which should prove an enormously popular feature.
JUDITH
Judith has created the range of outfits to dress the dummy character and that are available to buy seperately.
She has spent many years abroad in America, Paris and Italy working in her own fashion design business.
She plans to create two new outfits a month for the boy dummy and is currently working on a sailor outfit and 1930's North of England suit.
HAILEY
Hailey is the youngest member of our team and responsible for creating new and innovative hair styles for our boy dummy both modern and traditional. She is preparing some new hair designs for 2009 which we feel will be a big hit in the new year.
IAN
Ian is our site manager who is responsible for keeping the site running smoothly. It has taken many weeks to build the new vent dummy section and proved a challenge to get everything to come together.
