COMPLETE SET OF VENTRILOQUIST DUMMY HEAD AND BODY PARTS
Building the head, hands and body is usually the most daunting part of building your own ventriloquist dummy. We have taken a ggod deal of the hard work out of creating your own dummy by supplying body and head castings to enable you to build a professional dummy and saving you around two thirds of the cost of a ready made one. You can buy the parts individually (see other pages) or as a set, saving you around 20% and receiving an instruction sheet to help you put the little fellow together. These parts are exactly the same ones that we manufacture to make our own dummies here at our workshop.

The complete set includes head parts, eyes, hands and body and an instruction sheet explaining exactly how to put all the parts together to build a professional ventriloquist dummy. The head has a grooved platform inside which enables the eyes to be fitted correctly. It also has the holes in its sides to enable the mouth to be correctly positioned. The eyes come complete with nuts, bolts and washers to connect them to the head section.
Buying the complete set will make a saving of over £20.00 compared to buying the various parts separately. Please note that this set does not include the mechanical parts such as the control stick and brass fittings and you will need paint and finishes along with basic modelling tools and resin to join the various sections.
Dummies using identical parts were recently seen on the BBC programme 'Coming Of Age'. A great advantage in building your own dummy is that the finished dummy will be unique depending on the finish you apply. Looking at the two dummies used by the BBC you would never guess that they both came from the same basic mould. You can even go to the extreme of changing nose shapes etc by the use of various modelling mediums. The end result is limited only to your own imagination and ability.
height: When completed with legs, the dummy will stand at around 32" to 36" depending on the length of the legs you make.
